Any baker who loves to use butter knows that unsalted, sweet, cream butter is an automatic favorite. Not only does it add sweetness and creaminess to any baked good that requires butter, but because this butter is made by Kirkland, the brand name of Costco wholesale, you are guaranteed that this butter is one of the best you will ever find.

The price of butter is outrageously high in most supermarkets. If you want to use real butter, you might be disappointed and just settle for using margarine. But, there is something about real butter that cannot be matched by "fake butters." I know this well because I have been baking for several years now, and I always shudder to think that one day, if I were out of butter and could not afford it, I would have to resort to using margarine.

Luckily, I found Kirkland brand Sweet Cream unsalted butter. Although this sweet cream butter also comes salted, I prefer to use the unsalted version for my baking needs. I can easily control how much salt will be in my baked goods. I was surprised to find that this delicious sweet cream butter only costs approximately $8 for a pound. The butter comes in a package of 4 blocks weighing 1/4 pound each. Although this seems like a lot of butter it, surprisingly, keeps for a very long time and the butter can be frozen. However, I bake so often that I use the pound package in three weeks.

You can see the difference in your baked goods, and even in your savory dishes, once you start using Kirkland Sweet Cream unsalted butter. You can use it in any recipe that calls for butter. It is delicious on corn, on mashed potatoes, on baked salmon, and on top of a freshly baked muffin. Because it is unsalted, you don't have to worry about your sodium intake.

If you have not seen or tasted the quality of Kirkland's products, it is high time that you start. Not only will you be pleasantly surprised, but you will also love the price. Costco stands behind all the products that it offers. If this product were inferior compared to other butters that you would find in your regular supermarkets, you would not find it in Costco's warehouses.

So, the next time that you need to use butter, you should pick up a package of Kirkland's Sweet Cream unsalted butter. Once you use it, you won't look back.
